Alison
Alison Hoffer works at the intersection of relationships and capital,
partnering with organizations and funds on capital raising
as they grow and increase their impact.
​
With a background in capital raising, philanthropy, and international work,
she takes a relationship-first approach to raising funds across borders, helping organizations and funds connect with the right people, resources, and networks.
She has raised funds for NYU, NYU Langone Health, Columbia University,
and many other organizations.
​
Alongside this work, Alison is deeply committed to building community, especially for women in venture capital and women interested in entering the field.
​
At the core of her work is a belief that capital should move thoughtfully
and responsibly, aligned with values and outcomes.
​
She also serves on several nonprofit boards and launched a nonprofit
with friends to support veterans dealing with PTSD.
What Alison Does
Alison supports organizations and funds with relationship-driven fundraising and capital raising. Her work focuses on building strong, long-term relationships that support sustainable growth, particularly in global contexts. She has fundraised from prospects in North America, Europe, and the Middle east.

Capital Raising Support
Alison works with nonprofits, founders, and funds that are actively raising capital and need structure, momentum, and consistent follow-through. This includes fundraising strategy, donor and investor engagement, outreach management, and stewardship throughout the lifecycle of a raise.
Community Building
Alison designs and leads communities that bring together people with shared values and goals. She is especially focused on building community for women in venture capital and women exploring entry into the field, creating spaces that encourage connection, learning, and long-term relationships.
